I am so blessed to be LDS :)

Choose the Right
Latter Day Saint Church
The Book of Mormon
Missionaries
Our beloved Prophet Thomas S. Monson
The beautiful Washington D.C. Temple where Justin and I were sealed for eternity
Today I had the wonderful opportunity to go do a session in the Columbia, SC Temple. Oh how I love it there! Seriously what a wonderful place to go and do some pondering about things in life and to serve others. I love the way the Temple makes me feel. I love how I can go and just feel completely at peace while I am there. What a beautiful holy place it is. I also love my church. I am a latter day saint and proud to be! I would shout it from the mountain tops of how great and wonderful and blessed I am to be a member of this great church. Life brings ya struggles. And you have to have the will power and faith to get through them. I have a wonderful family! I mean one of the absolute best! I love them dearly and want them to know that. The church teaches us to love one another. Especially our family. We are going to spend eternity with them and by darn why not make the ride fun! :) I am so grateful for many things in the church. Just to name a few, the scriptures and the doctrine they give us daily. Our CTR rings, to remind us that we should always stand up for ourselves and others to Choose the Right! Our wonderful missionaries....goodness I can't even say enough about them! Seriously what awesome guys and gals that are out there serving and teaching this gospel daily. Also for member missionaries, I love being a missionary to my own friends and co-workers. I think we should make it a weekly challenge to share or pass a card along about the church. Can you just imagine what people are waiting to hear the gospel...I want to see the excitement on their face when they hear it! And I want to be a part of it! It's just all so exciting! I had the opportunity tonight to share with this darling girl that I work with about eternal families. And how I had my temple marriage and I was so excited to know that I am going to not only be with my family for eternity but also with my sweetheart Justin. Gosh that just makes me so excited!!! My co-worker thought it was all just so neat and amazing. She loved hearing it all! I am also so grateful for our beloved Prophet, Thomas S. Monson. What a remarkably man! I fully believe the words that man says are straight from our Heavenly Father. What power and faith he has in his life. I just love him so much and I love when I get to hear him speak. The last thing I am so grateful for is our wonderful Temples through out this world. What marvelous work and service they bring into our lives. I can't wait to have children and teach them all about the Temples. I am grateful that I have a Temple marriage. That I have the opportunity to attend the temple. It's a wonderful place. And my dream is that everyone one day will get to be worthy and go inside! IT'S WORTH IT! I PROMISE! I did want to bear my testimony at the end of this blog. I know that this glorious church is true and there is no denying that. I know that Thomas S. Monson leads and guides this church today through the power and word of God. I know that families are for eternity. I know that through the power of repentance we can come to God again and be with him. I know that the scriptures are true. What a blessing it is we have them today in our lives. I know that standards are so true. It's worth living them...not matter what trial comes our ways. They can only bless you more and more. I love this church and know it to be true! I love Our Heavenly Father and Jesus. What great faith I have of them in my life. The Church is true! HORAY FOR ISREAL!

My Valentine's Day Night Surprise :)

Valentine's Day started out pretty uneventful for this Watson family. It was just another ordinary day. Justin went to work and it was my Monday deep cleaning day. I had to work last night...which kinda stunk because then I didn't get to spend much time with Justin for Valentine's night. I kept seeing all these adorable couple's coming into the bakery and all I could think was I wish I was at home with Justin. But it was fun to make their night so special too :) When I got off of work at 9:30pm, I was more then exhausted just because it had been a really really busy night. I called Justin to let him know that I was on my way home. There was no answer. So I just figured he went to bed, because most nights we are in bed between 9 to 10pm...I know we are lame sometimes :) Anyways when I walked in the door I noticed that it was all dark and our Yankee candle was burning. I was like oh gosh Justin left the candle on. I am going to have to tell him to make sure to blow it out before he goes to bed. Then when I walked in the door a little more...there was my handsome man all dressed up with the table set with candles. He had two glasses set out with vanilla ice cream in them and an IBC root beer sitting on the side to make it a root beer float. Then he had a beautiful bouquet of colorful roses sitting beside my candle lit dessert table. It was just darling and totally surprising! I had no idea that he was going to be such a sweetheart. It made my whole night! There was nothing better then coming home from work with such a sweet thing waiting for me. Thanks darling, I love you so much! HAPPY VALENTINE'S TO YOU!

My beautiful roses and awesome dessert! I had to recreate it a little after we both ate our desserts for the pic :)
So yummy!

Can we say that I have a SWEETS kind of job :)

Look at these delicious Sweets!
Ok so I work every Saturday night. Last night was my first Saturday working. So at the end of the night as I was washing some dishes, one of my co-workers came up to me and said which stuff would you like to take home out of these trays...I thought maybe she would show me a couple of things to take home, but boy was I wrong. The bakery is closed on Sundays. So on Saturday night, some of the pastry's and cupcakes that are going to go bad possible the next day...they let us take home. Oh goodness! (this could get Justin and I in some serious trouble!) Anyways they sent me home with this much stuff. As you can see we took a couple of bits out of some of them already. Anyways on Sunday's we switch off going to Justin's family's house and then my family's house...looks like our families are going to be receiving sweets on Sunday's weekly. Can I just say that I love my job! I love baking and decorating desserts and what not. So its perfect! And I must say...the benefits are not so bad either ;)

Pre-Valentine's Date!

The wonderful Restaurant we went to...Villa Antonio....so good! Thanks to my friend Michelle for the suggestion!
Well this wasn't our meal...but it looks a lot similar...so stinking good!
Justin on his way out to the car...such a handsome southern man :)
Me all ready to go!
So hot! Our Driver
Me excited :)
Ok so for all of yall that have never seen Uptown Charlotte...well here it is...from the interstate.
Kinda of a closer view
Sitting down at the restaurant...its a little bright...we had to go a smidge earlier because I had to work later that night.
Justin and I...It was so delicious and the host was such a sweet Italian/Spanish man. He took your coat and kissed my hand. What gal doesn't love service like that!
So this year for our Valentine'e Day dinner date, we had to go a little earlier. With my new job and all...I am working every night except for Sunday. So since we had the whole day yesterday together, we thought...why not go early! We went to this great restaurant called Villa Antonio. The food was so delish and I loved our host guy! He was sweet as can be! Thanks to my friend Michelle Kemp for giving us this suggestion! She is a pure genius when it comes to Charlotte Restaurants! Thanks a bunch Michelle! We had a great time and came home with some yummy leftovers. You always gotta love Valentine's Day! Wither your married, dating, or single. You can always find some fun in it!

7 sweet tulips for 7 sweet months :)

My beautiful new Tulips to display!
Gotta love the smell of flowers!
CHEESE with my flowers!

Ok so as I wrote before I got a job at a Sweet's and Bakery Shop here in Charlotte. It's darling and I just love it! Right now I am working nights...which kinda stinks because then Justin and I are on opposite schedule's :( But we have figured out a new one so we can still see each other during the day as much as possible :) We have about 2 1/2 hours together now after he gets back from work. Anyways last night was my 2nd day of work! And I have already had 3 visits from people. Drew and Katie, Preston and Emily and last my favorite one...my sweet husband Justin! Thanks Y'all for coming in and seeing me! And of course getting some yummy treats! Anyways yesterday Justin and I had been married for 7 months now. As I was washing some dishes up in the back of the bakery, one of the managers came back and told me I had a visitor. I was thinking...gosh I have some great friends coming and visiting me! As I walked up to the front, there was my darling husband with 7 tulips in his hands (which by the way is my favorite flower!). He put a big smile on my face! He said there was 7 tulips for 7 wonderful months with me. Cheesy I know...but I love it, and I suck it all up every time :) All the ladies thought it was so cute that he did that and all night I got...you have the sweetest husband...what a doll he is. I mean what gal doesn't love getting flowers at work! The bakery was so cute and displayed my flowers for everyone to see. I absolutely love tulips and I absolutely love my husband! Thanks for the sweet and darling flowers dear! Your wonderful!

Some great friends :)

From left to right...The Granado's, The Watson's, The Paez's, The Roundy's, and The Pacheco's
So yes...these are some great friends of Justin and I's...what do we have in common...we all go to the Spanish Branch and love being there together! Its such a fun group. We all hang out on numerous occasions and love every minute of it! Yesterday we had a pot luck after church. Melina and Hernando were wonderful host over at their apartment! Not only is it fun to hang out with them, its also very unique. It's always a bilingual conversation...which sounds like it could be annoying or even frustrating but thats what I love about it...it just works and we still have so much fun! Lindsay and I don't really know Spanish...well Lindsay does better then me...but you get the point. The Granado's don't know much English, but we still love them dearly and think they are just great! As for everyone else...they are bilingual which makes it nice..because you can ask anybody what something means in Spanish and they can tell you right away! Anyways I just wanted to post this picture and say how awesome all these people are! I am so glad we are all in the Spanish Branch together...and how I love them dearly!

Getting our dance moves down..... :)

So on Saturday night the Spanish Branch had their adult Branch Valentine's dinner and dancing. It was such a blast! Let me tell y'all...the Hispanic's know how to party! This puts regular ward parties to shame...not saying those aren't fun too..this is just a different kind of fun :) They had wonderful food, hilarious couple games, and last....a ball of a time dancing! I haven't danced like this since Youth church dances. It was so much fun! I love going to the branch parties...you are always guarantied a great time!

Justin starting to get his groove on!
There was eating and socializing of course!
Justin doing his disco moves
Getting my grove on
The beginning of the dancing
Justin balancing the rose he gave me on his nose..awesome skills!
Hernando and Melina...def voted the best dancers of the night! (sorry the pic is blurry...guess their moves were too fast :)
Emily and Preston showing off their dance skills
My Latino flower dance moves
Justin showing them some country farmer Joe moves
Dancing the night away!
Happy Valentine's Day from the Spanish Branch
Happy and ready for some more dancing :)
They were doing some sort of Spanish dance I didn't know how to do.
Dancing to the Macarena! There is me towards the back :)

Just some things that I love :)

Ok so as I have written before...I am ready for Spring time! But there are other things I am ready for also! Like my Spring scent Yankee Candle...Lilac Blossoms and my Valentine's decor. I have also brought out my Spring table cloths should it be either for Justin and I's dinner or when people come over to dinner with us. And last but not least Justin and I's goal to get more in shape and lose some weight (well Justin wants to get more fit...but I want to lose some weight :) So I have already started pretending that Spring is here and I have pulled out my spring gear around the house!

I LOVE my Yankee Candles! Big fan of them!
My darling table cloth! And with all its matching gear! This one is my fav!
And last but not least some snacks and lemons! I absolutely love Clementine's for a snack or even for breakfast! They are great and oh so tasteful! Peanuts...I mean come on...what is better then a classic roasted peanut! Of course you don't want to eat a ton of them..but one handful of peanuts for a snack when you need some protein is great!...and last LEMONS!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LEMONS IN MY WATER! There is no doubt that I will always ask for a lemon in my water at a restaurant...and so when they were on sale the other day..I just had to buy some for myself..and lets be honest...to stick them on the side of your glass at dinner time..just makes your drink of water more inviting!

Fruit...will you please un-freeze for dinner :(

So the elders were coming over for dinner tonight. I was making corn taco's, Spanish rice, and a fruit salad. Well I didn't have any fresh fruit but I had some frozen fruit in the freezer for me and Justin's smoothie's. We had too much so I decided to make some of the frozen fruit into a fruit salad for the elder's toinght. Well I forgot to set it out in time to defrost and when I was trying to rush the fruit to un-freeze...it was still stuck in a frozen ball...I was soo sad...I hate when people come over to our home for dinner and the food doesn't go quite like I hope it too. So the end result is..the elders got a little bit of frozen fruit and taco's and rice...but hey it tasted good to us! After all...food is food :)

Me sad with our frozen fruit :(

Goodbye old semester...Hello NEW!

One of Justin's Spanish Classes

So Justin finished his first semester ever as a high school Spanish Teacher. He had a good semester but is definitely ready for a new one! He said he now feels much more prepared for this next semester because now he knows what to do right and wrong. Anyways he got a picture with one of his classes and we thought we would share it with you. He loves being a high school teacher and interacting with the kids each day. Everyday is a new challenge and experience for him and he loves it!

Once upon a daily hair do...

So last week as Justin and I were about to leave for the night, I was in the bathroom finishing up getting ready. Justin was in the kitchen washing some dishes. I walked out telling him I was all ready to go and as I looked up at him....this "hair do" is what I came across. I said what in the heck did you do to your hair?! Are you trying a new cool hair style that the kids are doing at school? (as I was laughing) He replied what are you talking about? I then said have you not seen your hair. He went into the bathroom and just started laughing his head off. I guess when his hair started growing longer since we buzzed it...when he got out of the shower and dried it off...this is the lovely style it decided to turn into without Justin even noticing it! It was quite the laugh for the night. I think it is pretty dang hot...haha jk...I think ill stick to his regular hair :)

"The new do"
Isn't it just lovely!

Where in the heck is SPRING?!

Ok so I don't know about y'all....but Christmas is most definitely over and so is January...so where the heck is the early Spring time! Ok so I know its just barely February right now...but come on weather...your killing me! It's playing tricks on my mind! The other day it was so beautiful outside, and I just wanted to go jump in the pool and soak up some sun. I want to smell the wonderful scent of flowers blooming off the plants and tree's and not have to use my Yankee candle to get my spring smell high. I want to be able to run outside and not freeze my tail end off. Pretty much I just want Spring to arrive and stay! I am grateful though for the wonderful winter we have had. It's been so much fun having the snow here in the south and getting that dose of winter and excitement for Justin and I this year. But now we are totally ready for the next excitement...GOODBYE WINTER AND HELLO SRPING!!!

Just some flower picture's to make a hopeful soon to be Spring!
