It's like your a princess for the night and you get all these magical gifts. It was like a dream come true! I absolutely can't wait to decorate where me and Justin are going to live with everything I got! It's probably one of the best things about getting married is getting all the adorable things! I just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to the ladies in the Waxhaw Ward for a great Bridal Shower and everything else you have done to make my wedding wonderful!

Our new bedspread is bought!!!

This is the new bedspread that I got for me and Justin when we get married! I absolutely love it! It's from Anthropologie, which is one of my all time favorite stores! I love everything in and about that store! And I got it for a killer deal! It may seem a little bright in the picture, but in person, it's beautiful! I love it! Justin said he didn't care what I picked out. Therefore I took advantage of it! I know it probably seems a little more on the girlie side, but in person its not. Mamma loved it! And in fact at one time bought it for her room but the colors didn't match, so she had to return it. Therefore when I saw it on sale for a wonderful deal, I was stoked! I must say a BIG THANKS to my siblings for this one! It's what they all chipped in and bought us for our wedding. I just can't wait for July 10th to get here sooner! I can't wait to decorate and see this beautiful bedspread on my new bed!

A little Thursday night baseball anyone?

So tonight the family and I went to the Charlotte Knight's baseball game. We had an absolute blast! It was Nic's 19th birthday so that's what mamma and pops decided we should take him too. From hamburger's to peanuts and crackerjacks, all the way down to a really hilarious drunk guy, we couldn't have asked for a better night! The weather was perfect and the game was great! The Charlotte Knight's won, but don't ask me what in the heck the score was because we left at the 8th inning. But the real entertainment of the night was the drunk guy in front of us. This kid was soooo funny, we were all laughing with tears in our eyes. One of the times he was talking, he was explaining to this old woman who he didn't know next to him, how he went to the bathroom and peed all over his number one fan foam hand. He was sooo drunk that he didnt know how to use the bathroom. Then he tried washing his number one fan foam hand with soap and water along with his other real hand to get it nice and clean. On his way back from the bathroom he bought himself a balloon sword, so everyone would know that he and his foam hand are pirates. It may not sound funny now, but it was down right hilarious! Couldn't have asked for a better way to put a smile on our faces. I mean who the heck needs cable right?! Overall our night was great! So next time if you want to go to a Charlotte Knights baseball game, just let us know!

Happy 19th Birthday to my Brother Nic!

My little brother Nic turned 19 today! Wow how times flys by fast! I remember it like yesterday when we first adopted him from Russia. I didn't like him all to much the first month because he was the first boy in our family and he was from Russia. Therefore me being the baby girl...didn't get as much attention after that for a little bit. But oh how it was worth it! He will be leaving for his mission this summer after my wedding in July. I love Nic! He is down right hilarious in everyway! There is never a dull moment with this kid, and he can always put a BIG smile on my face. I am truly going to miss him sooo much! HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIC! Hope you enjoy your day!

Their reception was so pretty! Lights, music, picture's, atomosphere, and you thought candyland had it all, well your wrong people because candyland times 100 was at their wedding! We overall had a great time. She made a beautiful bride and I am definitely going to still some of her idea's for my wedding!

On April 5th my darling Justin turned the big 25. Except he probably doesn't even know how old he turned. He is not the best at remembering ages...just kidding, he did indeed remember how old he was. But even though his birthday has past, I just wanted to post some pics! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HIM!

My Fairytale

So in my time being in Charlotte, I went to the Hilliard Singles Ward. Hands down the best singles ward I have ever been too! I have been there almost two years and have loved every minute of it. I have met some life long friends and have had some real good laughs. I wouldn't change any of it for the world! Well amongst my days at the Hilliard building from being in charge of Linger Longer/activities, socializing, resort week (aka my house, swimming in the pool all summer with the singles till 5 in the morning), family home evening, institute, and driving 35 minutes to everything that has to do with Hillard, I meet my prince charming! I meet him last October at a CES fireside at the Hilliard Building. I had actually meet his brother Jake and friends Jarom and David first. We all became friends and started hanging out. Justin and I had started off as just friends and had no interest in each other at all...just friendship. He then invited me to come up to his brother Jason and sister-in-laws Jaylyn house to help him babysit his nieces and nephews and cook dinner for them. I thought, hey that would be fun! So I went up there and had a great time. Thats probably when I first really noticed that he was pretty awesome. We started talking on the phone all the time and just became really good friends. I went up there to hang out at there house (aka Casa Blanca is what they call it) a lot because all the boys were always there and they were way fun to hang out with. Me and Justin would always stay up late just talking about everything. We both loved talking to each other and just hanging out. I really started to like him at this point and I thought he may have like me too...but who the heck knows...boys are confusing as crap! Anyways this last Christmas my family and I were heading out to Utah to visit family. About a week and a half before we left, Justin finally told me that he liked me...I was thinking to myself FINALLY...because I for one, was not about to tell him that I liked him...heck no...no thank you. Anyways we talked everyday while I was in Utah and I loved every minute of it! When I got back we weren't "offically" dating. On January 10th...we started "offically" dating...thats why the dating game just flat out sucks, you have to define everything! Overall we had been dating 2 months and Justin proposed to me down in Charleston at waterfront park on the Charleston Harbor (one of my most absolute favorite places!) It was soo sweet and endearing! I love that kid with all my heart! He is the sweetest southern gentleman you will ever meet. Oh and I guess I could tell you a little about him. Obviously his name is Justin Watson. He is from Concord, NC and graduated from College at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. He majored in Spanish and wants to eventually teach at a University level. He comes from a family of 6 brothers and he is number 5. I love and adore his family. They are such wonderful people. He is working as a sound technician right now at a company called NC Sound. He is just the absolute greatest! I am soo in love with him and couldn't ask for anyone better for me. We are complete opposite's in many ways, but at the same time, alike in other ways. But we definitely compliment each other. I just wanted to say thanks to him for being my PRINCE CHARMING! We are getting married on July 10th in the Washington D.C. Temple. I can't wait! Hopefully time will fly by fast!

I want to be part of the cool club!

Hello one and all. So I've been wanting to start a blog for some time now, and well last night I finally did it! So here I am...HORAY! Well just to get started I moved to Charlotte, NC almost two years ago.I have been here ever since then. I am from Charleston, SC but my parents moved here 2 1/2 years ago for my dad's job at Nucor. I have loved living in Charlotte! Not as much as Charleston, but lets be honest...you really cant beat Charleston! Anyways I graduated from College in a Dental Assisting program in Utah. So I decided to move back south when I got done where the real hospitality is...haha joke to all your westerners. I overall had no luck in the dental department in finding a job due to the economy and whatnot. So I went to work and found a job at the YMCA just to have something. It was only a seasonal job so of course it had to end. I was stuck in a pit again. So last fall I decided I wanted to take my love for baking skills to the works by going back to school here in Charlotte in Culinary-Baking and Pastry Arts. I went all fall semester and decided it wasn't for me. Don't get me wrong people I still love baking but just for fun! Therefore if you come over to my house you just might find cupcakes, cookies, glazed pecans, pretty much anything that will raise your blood temperature. So this oming fall I decided I would try the school rounds again and do what I truely love and go into Hospitality-Event Planning. I love planning events and parties. It's something im good at and I love doing! So I am going to apply to UNCC (University of North Carolina-Charlotte) for fall semester. So that pretty much sums up where I am at with that department in life.
