Mini Golf.......

So this past weekend Justin and I went on a triple date with my sister Heather, my brother in law Blaine, my brother Nic, and his date Kylee. We had a blast! Who doesn't love a game of mini golf! It was pretty competitive....we even had "golf names" that we had to call each other...real names were not allowed :) Anyways we all did pretty good and in the end....Justin ended up taken the game...he got 4 hole in ones! That's pretty awesome to me when your not super great at golf. Anyways we had a blast!

David, KO, and Gups.........The Watson Fish..........

Our new fish!

Ok so the story behind the fish......this past weekend our good friends David and Kendyl got married. At their reception for there center pieces they had these darling little black fish. So at the end they were giving them away to any of the guest that wanted them. Justin jumped for the idea and I thought it would be pretty cool to have a pet fish.....I mean after all...we don't have any pets and I figured a fish wouldn't be a bad way to start off. Anyways instead of getting one fish, we got two fish. There is one big black one and one little black one. The lady at the table who had the little black one said they named it Oscar. And so therefore we had to keep the same name for it. Well Kendyl who was the bride said we should name them David and Kendyl in honor of them. Well we decided to please both people and named the big one David, and the little one Kendyl Owen....therefore we call him KO for (Kendyl Owen). Well of course we needed to get the fish some cool rocks in the bottom of our bowl and some food for them to eat. So we headed off to Pets Mart for these items. While we were there I saw this darling little yellow guppy that was $2.00. I convinced Justin we should get one more so that David and KO could have a colorful friend in the tank. So we headed off to the check out line with our yellow guppy which we named Gups, our fish food, and our cool, blue, green, and clear diamond rocks. So we are proud to say that we are owners of 3 awesome fish! We loved watching them swim around and eat....yup that's about as entertaining as it gets with them...but hey they are low maintenance! And thats what we like! :)

Our 1st 46' BIG MAMMA!!!!

So Justin and I have been saving money for a little while now for a TV...it felt nearly impossible that we would never get one because when your newly married...who has that much money to go and blow on one. Well since I started working, saving money was a lot easier. Well last night was the night! We did it...we got our first BIG SCREEN TV!!! And I'm not one much for getting super excited about a TV, but I have to admit it was kinda fun :)...ok ok so it was lots of fun! When we were at Sam's, Justin was having a hard time deciding if he wanted to spend the money...but the TV was on a great deal!...and you could just see the little kid inside of him wanting to get it. So I let him make the final decision...and BAM we got it! We love our new TV and we already watched Batman on it last night (we chose Batman because it was playing on one of the tv's at the store and it made us want to watch it). Anyways we feel like rednecks though because right now we have no where to put it in our apartment family room. We are waiting to hear on this house we are trying to get and then up it will go in the house family room. So where did we put it you are thinking....yep thats right...in our bedroom. Our 46' tv is sitting on our dresser. But I have to admit watching a movie on it in bed last night was not to shabby. We had a "wonderful" time getting it home from Sam's in our car...NOT! As much as I love my husband he had this "smart" idea to place it in my little Mazda 3 car in the middle of the parking lot where everyone was driving to get around us with evil looks in there eyes. But I was appalled and we got it in...after much frustration we did it! We had to drive the whole 2 minutes home from Sam's with my back left door open...but trust me...there was no way that tv was coming out! It was stuck in good! Alright enough with the talking...here are the pics!

This is how we drove home from Sam's......
