Argentine Empanadas!

Monday night for FHE we had our friends over...The Roundy's and The Granados. We have soo much fun hanging out with them! Justin wanted to make his homemade Argentine Empanadas. They are oh so good! Justin is such a chef when he makes these...well he is my own personal chef (only for these Empanadas though..other wise I do the cooking :) We had so much fun making them together and our friends really enjoyed them. Sorry there are only 2 pics...I meant to take some of the final product of the Empanadas but we were having so much fun....I plum forgot to take more. If you would love to try these wonderful things...you will just have to come over to the Watson house to get some! Other wise you are missing out!

Sledding with the Watson's

So during the crazy snow week, Justin's family found this awesome sledding hill at an elementary school. It had even iced over so it made the hill more slick to ride down. It was great! We had so much fun! The picture's are pretty self explanatory of how much fun we had :)

Charlie the Snowman

So all last week in the great state of North Carolina we had a "snow storm". Well what us southerners like to call a snow storm :) Justin is a High School Spanish teacher...so therefore they cancelled school. So when school is off, so is Justin! We were so excited with all this snow that came in. Justin got this great idea in his head that we should build a huge snowman. I thought it was a great idea too, but I didn't really know how big he exactly wanted it to be in his mind. So we started off that morning building it. We were out there for probably about 3 hours. We both had made some decent size balls and decided to take a break. That night we went back to work. Making the snowman went by a lot faster because the snow had harden a little more. By the time we were done we had made a 9 foot snowman that we called Charlie. You had to see him in person...the picture's don't justify how big he really was. We had people walk by and take picture's with Charlie. The poor snowman got knocked over the first night and we waited a couple of days...but then we decided that Charlie must live again! :) So we fixed him right back up and made him look good as ever! He lasted a couple of nights until he got knocked over once again. That's an apartment complex for ya I guess right? :) Now we have a huge ball of snow sitting in front of our apartment...we think it will last at least 3 months...were hoping more just to see how long it really does last! Anyways the snowman pics are below...ENJOY!

And finally in the end...CHARLIE THE 9 FOOT SNOWMAN!
We were soo excited...as you can tell...he is way taller then Justin

Being sick really stinks...

So before Christmas I had gotten really sick with a bad cold and a soar throat. I prob used a whole box of tissues just to clear my nose. I finally got some medicine to make it all better. The medicine did its work for the most part. During Christmas break I started feeling a lot better! Still had a little bit of a cold but it was going away. Well the day we returned from Christmas break back to our apartment, I went to bed that night and woke up the next morning sick with a horrible cold, ear ache, and bad soar throat once again. So I was joking with Justin and said I think our apartment makes me sick during the winter. Anyways right now I am going through another box of tissues...a lack of sleep and wanting to sleep for a lot of the day when there is no time! Justin and I have made a goal with each other this year to get up at 4:45am every morning before Justin goes to work and go work out in our apartment gym. Ya....we have not yet made our goal for the year. Every morning I have been drowsy as ever and just pure exhausted from a lack of sleep. Hopefully I can get over this nasty cold and not get sick anymore! I am ready to start my New Year's goals and get this year going great! :) So far this stinking cold has held me down..but no worries...I will fight it! :)
