Shrek Uno!

So Justin and I love the game of Uno! The reason for the Shrek Uno is well because I'm not really sure where he got it, but Justin already owned it when we got married, but in a Shrek version. We played it for Family Home Evening last night. We had soo much fun. We are big time card playing gamers! Uno and phase ten are our two favorite. But I have to admit, I most definitely won both games of Uno last night. That's right...im amazing at it! So bring it on any of you who want to play! :)

Primary Secretary in Espanol

So as many of you know me and Justin are in the Charlotte Spanish Branch here in our Stake. Justin got called to be the Branch Clerk about 8 months ago when we were engaged. Justin speaks fluent Spanish because he served his mission in Argentina and graduated with his Bachelors in Spanish. He started going and I finished my time in the Hilliard Singles Ward. Once we got married that meant it was my time to go to the Espanol Branch. I won't lie, I wasn't to stoked about it because I don't speak a lick of Spanish, but was going to have a great attitude about the whole thing! Well I have to admit that I really do love the Branch now! The reason for my picture up top is well....I got called to be the Primary Secretary. I absolutely love primary! I'm not quite sure what people are talking about when they complain about being called to primary...well I guess I technically don't have to teach every week, so maybe thats why :) Pretty much all the kids are bi-lingual and most of them do just speak English. Kids are so darn funny! Every week I laugh about something that goes down in the Espanol Primary. Can't wait for this Sunday to get here :)

Being a kid again...

Remember when you were a kid and you saw a carousel? You would usually get soo excited and beg your parents to ride it. Well in this case my niece Addison got to have that moment, and lucky for me I got to ride it with her! Oh the joy on her face as she got to ride around in circle's on a horse that went up and down. It makes you want to be a kid again and have something as simple as that make you so happy and excited. But I have to admit, I was pretty excited to ride it myself! There is nothing better then riding a plastic horse with music :)

Around we go!

My Darling Plates

So these are some of my plates from my wedding. Well they are my everyday plates that we use. I absolutely love them!!! Again I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! We do have green and chocolate brown one's too that match them. I call those "the manly plates" for Justin's sake :) Gotta please them some how right?! I am one of those girls that loves to set the table as cute and decorated as possible :) When the Elder's come over they always comment on my girl plates, what can I say, their cute! Therefore I wanted to share them with yall!

Justin's first day of teaching

So Justin started teaching at Mt. Pleasant High School in Mt. Pleasant, NC. He did end up getting the job for the whole year! So thats great for us! Here is a picture of him at 6:00am in the morning when he was leaving for school. We are soo proud of him and so far he loves the school and the kids! Horay! Let's hope it stays that way :)
