Justin's Car...RIP

Yes that's right RIP Justin's car. Tuesday early evening Justin was on his way home from work and was driving right when the sun is the most crucial and you just want to shoot it down out of your eyesight. He had put his visor down to block it, but it was still affecting the light bouncing off the road. As Justin was coming to a traffic light he did not realize it was there because of the sun and his visor being down. He was traveling at 55 mph and ran straight through a red light. Quickly realizing what he had done, he slammed on his brakes and slightly turned his car right as he was about to hit a mini van. They slammed into each other from the front side. Luckily for all of them everyone seem to be ok. They lady driving the mini van was a pretty hysterical when she got out of the car. Justin ran right over to make sure she and anyone else in the van was ok. Her and her around 19 year old daughter and 1 year old granddaughter were in the van. Everyone was fine and no one got hurt. We are soo grateful that everyone was ok and doing well. Justin and the other people are soo blessed to walk away from that. Justin was pretty soar that night and some the next day. I think his biggest stress was when he realized how much the wreck and the damages that were done, were going to cost us. We don't know what the insurance will say but the lady's car was pretty much done for along with Justin's. So we are down one car now. Fortunately Justin's brother Joseph and his wife Rebekah have an extra Honda sitting around and were gracious enough to let us borrow it for the time being. Thanks soo much yall, we really really appreciate your love and kindness! We are sooo sooo grateful everyone turned out to be ok. We thank Heavenly Father everyday to live in this time and in this wonderful gospel. We love him so much. But as far as Justin's car....you were good to us for the time being...guess we have to move on to a new one :)

  4. Scary! I am always apprehensive when it comes to driving while the sun is blinding me for that very reason. I am glad everyone is ok. Good luck figuring everything out!
