The 13th Acre Haunted Trail
So my sister Heather found this farm out in Monroe called Aw Shucks Farm. So we decided to take a night and go to it. It was seriously so cute and so fun! They had everything! So therefore when I say everything...I guess I should tell you what they had :) Ex: pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, haunted trail (which by the way was really scary! I thought they did a great job!) darling little country store, food, games, nice bathrooms :)...thats a plus when your pregnant!...then of course the wonderful cool air and atmosphere of the fall time! :) We had a blast! My favorite part was most definitely the haunted trail...I love the feeling of being scared while your in them. Even though you know something is going to pop out...you still get that scared rush inside of you :) So therefore anyone this year looking for a place to go....GO HERE! IT'S GREAT!

So once again my birthday rolled around! It was splendid as ever...well as exciting as turning 24 can get! :) I started off my bday events by going to lunch at one of my newest favorite places called Amelie's French Bakery in Noda. It was featured in last months Southern Living Magazine. I seriously am in love with this place...especially their soup! I even got a free pastry because it was my birthday! :) Mamma, Heather, Blaine, and Will joined me to try this place for their first time. They seemed to really like it. Anyways afterwards we actually ended up running errands to the store to get some groceries....and picked up my bday cake...chocolate!...yum! Throughout the day I had many wonderful text and phone calls from family and friends. THANKS YALL for the sweet messages! Anyways that night Justin and I decided to use one of our coupons to a restaurant in Uptown Charlotte called Presto...we have only been there once but really enjoyed it...so therefore if we had a coupon and we like the place...so why the heck not go there! Our friends the Roundy's ended up joining us for the birthday dinner evening and it was so much fun! We went to dinner then after that hit up Ben and Jerry's for some yummy ice cream! We couldn't find a cold stone close enough to where we could find good parking. Oh well it was still good! After that we headed down to my parents house and stayed for the weekend to watch conference since they have direct TV....I mean who doesn't want to watch conference from a comfy couch :) On Sunday we did my birthday cake with the family along with some ice cream with it! Overall it was a great birthday weekend! Oh I guess I should tell you some of the gifts I got. Justin got me a new digital camera...which I love! Its so beautiful and new! Thanks Sweetheart! Your the best! My dad bought all of us girls earlier this year Ipads...so I got that back a few months ago from them...def NO COMPLAINTS! :) Thanks Dad and Mamma! My brothers got me a Target giftcard...always something I love! And this year my sisters and I drew names to make it a little cheaper for each of us to buy gifts so my sister Lynsee had me this year...she got me some cute clothes! Thanks Lynz! Anyways I had a fabulous birthday and thanks to those who made it even greater! HAPPY 24TH TO ME!

Dead camera...new camera...and our lives :)

My new camera...but mine is in Silver! LOVE IT!

Hey one and all! Ok so I feel like I have been the worst blogger ever...ok so let me change that...I have been the worst blogger ever! Therefore its time to blog about something right?! When we went to Utah this summer I dropped our camera on the cement and it broke. I was so sad :( no more pics for a little bit. There has been a lot going on in our lives lately! Ok so to start off, we were living in Charlotte. Our apartment lease was up and so therefore we had to move out. We have been waiting on this house we want to buy to go into foreclosure so we can get a heck of a deal on it. We didn't want to renew our contract or get into another one and then all of a sudden have this house come through and have to pay some ridiculous amount to get out of it. Therefore we thought of a plan B! We have a good friend that lives in Harrisburg, NC.....pretty much outside of Charlotte....anyways she got a new job in another state, so she will be moving soon. Therefore we talked to her and are now living at her darling home and renting from her until our house can hopefully work out....and if not...then we will have to think of a new plan! Anyways baby Watson is doing great...she is healthy thus far and growing like a weed! My tummy is getting bigger each week...I swear it happened over night! :) We got a few darling new clothes to make her look like a fashion diva! I absolutely can't wait to put them on her cute little body! We are two days away from being 23 weeks...so in about a week..it will be 6 months! Only 3 more to go after that! Justin started the school year off once again. He still loves teaching Spanish at Mt. Pleasant High School. He loves the people he works with and the kids most of the time :) He finds himself making his lesson plans better and better each day! We find ourselves crazy busy pretty much every weekend. There is always places to go and people to see! A couple of weeks ago we hit up the Cabarrus County Fair. I had never been but it was the fair Justin went to growing up. It definitely doesn't compare to the Charleston County fair but I still have to say that I loved it! It was a lot smaller but I thought it had a lot to offer for being so small. So as for the camera, my birthday is in about a week and half and I told Justin I wanted a new camera. For us right now its a little on the expensive side considering all these upcoming things we are going to have to buy...but I told him we have to get one no matter what because we have baby girl on her way. And there was no way in heck we could not have a camera for that moment! So we broke down and bought one for an early birthday gift to me :) YAY! Now I love my new camera! Even though my old one was looking a little rough before I dropped it...I love how shiny and new and even a more clear picture my new one is! Anyways that is the somewhat short update on our lives. The fall is coming and we are stoked! Well I should say I am stoked! I absolutely without a doubt love FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite time of the year! And that just means baby girl Watson is that much closer to coming :)
