Ok so story behind this pic....one of the couples won in their white elephant gift a can of sardines, canned meat, oysters, and vienna sausages. Therefore our friend Reed wanted to rally up some money and even throw in his $30 chilis gift card to anyone who could eat all four cans and keep it down...well of course who volunteers to do so...yep thats right my dear husband Justin. He says it was to win some date night money for us to go out...lol I didn't know if I should be flattered or grossed out that the fact that im 8 months pregnant and i was going to have to smell the nastyness of all the food he just ate and risk him being sick all night. But overall I thought it was sweet that he thought of winning the date money...lol thanks sweetheart for taking the risk!....lol :) Anyways end result....HE DID IT! We are so proud! Now we are $20 bucks richer and have $30 bucks worth in giftcards towards to chilis! GREAT JOB DEAR!
next can to open....
So my sister Heather and brother in law Blaine threw their first annual Ugly Sweater Party. It was a blast! There were definitely some ugly sweaters that people had found. Justin and I had to search a little bit for ours. Justin's sweater said "official mistletoe tester" along with is sexy santa shorts and hat (we thought we would spice the outfit up a bit). Mine was a Halloween sweater vest that I wont call any names out of who's closet I got it from (cough cough..Mamma's :) lol jk thanks for letting me borrow it! It worked out great! Then I added some white trashness to it. Everyone else's sweater was pretty classic itself! It was a fun party filled with lots of fun games and we came home with our white elephant gift that happened to be a purplish colored Christmas pillow that said Noel with feathers all around it. Yep...don't think we will be sporting that around our house for decor...lol. Anyways thanks Heather and Blaine for a fun party! We most definitely had some good laughs!
