Ok so this is a little random but my Mamma found this darling vintage looking earring and necklace holder at Home Goods. My Mamma actually bought one first. Her's is bronze. So I just loved it so much I went back and bought a cream colored one for me and I have loved it ever since!!

Ok so on my last post I talked about getting things from the consignment sale. This darling little smocked dress is something I found there for 15 bucks! Practically new! Some of these babys can cost up to 100-200 bucks! They are so charming and very southern! I was happy about my find and she wore it this past weekend to church.

So in Charleston they have tons of store's that can monogram things onto whatever you want. I was down in South Charlotte at my parents house a couple of weeks ago and found one of those store's! I was so excited! So I went in and found a pillow for Lucy Jane's Room. It was just a simple little white pillow. But I had them put her initials on it and it turned out so dang cute! I wanted to add just a little bit more southern charm to her pillow. So I got my glue gun out and glued on the pearls to each of the the little ruffles on the pillow. I loved how it turned out and I was so excited to put it in her room!

So about a week ago I went to my very first consignment sale. I have many friends who attend this and have wanted me to go many times and I have just never made it out there. They always get great deals on things that are either in really great shape or practically new! So I went to the Tar Heel Kid Consignment Sale. It was great! I'm not a big fan on having a thousand toys around your house for kids to play with. I feel like they end up not really playing with them and then they are just a huge pile of a mess all around your house that takes up room. Anyways of course I do want a few though :) So I found some serious killer deals on these toys I got! I was very excited. I looked at them all over for any damages and they serious feel like I bought them from the store and I got them a heck of a lot cheaper! Anyways I am now a fan of consignment sales as long as they are good ones :) I mean who doesn't want stuff cheaper right!

Grandpa Hall's Funeral

So of course I am a little late on this. But on February 13th, 2012 my Grandpa Hall passed away. He lived a good long life. He was a great man who many loved. I have so many memories of Grandpa Hall and what a great man he was in life. The funeral was so beautiful and very nice. It was actually a very happy occasion. It was like a mini family reunion. I got to see many cousins I hadn't seen in a while and it was great to see some of my siblings along with it! Also while we were in Utah we got to do many other things. We got to go to Maddox Ranch House twice....love that place! We also got to go to Cafe Rio. I was in Heaven! I got to go meet up with one of my best friends Adri and her wonderful mother Miss Carla! We went to my cousin Haley's BYU basketball game and of course hung out with more old friends and family. We had a great trip! Even though its sad when someone passes along....its also a good thing because we know we get to see them again someday. That is what is so wonderful about the gospel. We can return back to our Father in Heaven. We love you Grandpa Hall and even though we will miss you. We will surely get to see you again! MUCH LOVE!

Our sweet Lucy Jane is 2 months old today! Wow how times flies! She is getting bigger and chunkier each day :) We don't have an update on her stats yet because we don't go back to the doctor till next week. But my guess is she is at least 8 lbs if not 9....but we shall see! We have had some beautiful warm weather here in the Carolina's for the month of February. It's been in the mid 70's which I am personally loving! Lets get this winter out of here! Even though I cant complain to bad because its been a pretty warm winter. Anyways we continue to love Lucy day after day. She has her screaming moments but over all she is a good baby. Her eyes are getting more and more blue and she has dark brown hair on the back of her head. The top kinda went away as she was getting bigger...but its starting to grow back again! And I love blue eyes and brown hair! She def has her Daddy and Mamma's genes in that department! Anyways just thought I would show you her as she is growing! We love our baby girl!

And then came the screaming :).......

Ok ok I know its a little late...but I ended up having a busy week! Therefore HAPPY VALENTINE'S TO ALL YALL!!! I took some picture's of Lucy Jane even though she was not happy about getting her picture taken at all! But I thought she looked to darling to not take it :) But we hope all yall had a wonderful Valentine's and did something very special or fun! This year my Grandpa Hall had died on the 13th. Therefore I was flying out to Utah on Valentine's Day to attend his funeral. That is why my week was so busy. Anyways Justin and I's Valentine's consisted of running to the grocery store to pick up some groceries for him for the week and buying each other Chocolate and flowers. Well chocolate for him and flowers for me :) But we actually celebrated a little early this year. The weekend before Valentine's we went out to dinner at Texas Road House...classy I know...but we love that place and hey it sounded good! :) Then we hit up a movie. I convinced Justin to go see "The Vow" with me. I actually thought it was pretty good! Then we came home and went to bed and we made a great date night out of it! We did do our tradition that we started last year. Which is....having Root Beer floats every Valentine's night on our fancy glasses. We love it! Anyways once again HAPPY LATE VALENTINE'S to everyone!

Pizza and Laser Tag...yep that's my idea of a Ladies Night!

So last Friday night me and some of my gal pals decided it was time for a girls night! We always look forward to these! Because lets be honest...who doesn't love hanging with the ladies once in a while! We originally were just going to dinner. Then after we ate and had some dessert we decided to go bowling. When we got to the bowling ally they were completely full. So they also had laser tag there too. We were game after that to play! We divided up into our teams. The RED TEAM consisted of me, Kristina, Lindsay and Jamie who was a trooper considering she is 8 months pregnant! The GREEN TEAM consisted of Heidi, Heather, Kimberly, Katelyn and Amanda. We were excited to battle against each other! :) We had an absolutely blast! I haven't played laser tag in heaven knows how long! But it was so much fun! I would definitely do it again real soon! Anyways it was a fun night and thanks ladies for always being a joy to be around!
